Automatic Chronograph - Diameter 43 mm

GV2 T38 Chronograph Watch

GV2 T38 Chronograph Watch

Introducing the Gevril T-38 Men’s Watch, a timepiece inspired by the iconic Northrop T-38 Talon jet, which has been a symbol of precision, power, and cutting-edge technology in the world of aviation since its debut in the 1960s. Just like the T-38 jet, known for its supersonic speeds and agility, this watch embodies high-performance engineering and sleek design.

At its heart is a Swiss-made Ronda quartz movement, ensuring unrivaled accuracy, much like the precision required in flight training. The 45mm stainless steel case, paired with a sophisticated stainless-steel bracelet and deployment buckle, delivers both durability and a commanding presence on the wrist. Its three sub-dials offer functionality reminiscent of the cockpit’s complex instrumentation, while the curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating ensures you can read the time effortlessly under any condition—just like pilots navigating through varying light conditions at supersonic speeds.

Water-resistant up to 10 meters, this watch is built for adventure, echoing the rugged durability of the T-38, which has flown countless pilots into the sky for training and missions. From its aerodynamic curves to its robust features, the Gevril T-38 is not just a watch—it’s a tribute to an aviation legend that has stood the test of time and continues to soar through the skies today.

Prepare to conquer your day with precision and style, whether on the ground or dreaming of the skies above.

The history of Gevril watches is a story that combines an illustrious watchmaking past with an innovative modern revitalization. The company origins date back to the mid-18th century and Jacques Gevril, the gifted Swiss watchmaker who is the founder and inspiration of the eponymous brand.

Today the Gevril name endures thanks to the vision of a Swiss horologist and businessman who lifted the brand to its current heights as an established Swiss watch company.

Jacques Gevril was an up-and-coming watch and clockmaker in 1758 when he accompanied his colleague Pierre Jaquet-Droz on a trip to Madrid. There, the men presented a selection of complex musical automata to King Ferdinand VI. The king was so impressed he bought every piece.

Jaquet-Droz returned home the following year but Gevril remained in Spain to fortify his reputation as a master watchmaker and was appointed Royal Watchmaker by the king. Gevril lived in Spain for many years thereafter, refining his craft and producing watches for the Crown.

Gevril’s traditions were survived by future generations of Gevril watchmakers including Moyse Gevril and Daniel Gevril, who built their reputations on horological innovations and artistic enameling techniques.

Today Gevril pocket watches are highly collectible: one is even located in the Muséum Genève and another is part of the collection of the Wilsdorf family, founders of Rolex.
