Gevril Five Points - Skeleton Automatic
Emanating from the vibrant heartbeat of the City That Never Sleeps, the Five Points Skeleton Collection reimagines luxury timekeeping through a lens of architectural brilliance and Swiss precision. Inspired by New York’s ever-evolving yet timeless skyline, this collection is a symphony of artistry, innovation, and horological mastery.
Each piece in the Five Points Skeleton Collection transcends the ordinary, blending heritage and contemporary refinement. At its core lies the Swiss-made ETA 2892-A2 automatic movement, celebrated for its ultra-thin profile, reliability, and exceptional performance. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement ensures unparalleled accuracy. The visible rotor, showcased through the exhibition case back, performs a mesmerizing ballet of precision.
What sets the Five Points Skeleton Collection apart is its full skeletal design. The see-through sapphire crystal on the front reveals the intricately skeletonized movement, where every component is meticulously engineered and polished to perfection. This transparency transforms the timepiece into a dynamic work of art, allowing enthusiasts to marvel at the interplay of gears, bridges, and springs as they bring the watch to life. Together with the exhibition case back, this dual transparency offers a comprehensive and immersive view of the mechanical artistry within.
The design is a harmonious fusion of endurance and elegance. The stainless-steel polished bezel frames the skeletonized dial, where luminous external dots and hands ensure optimal legibility against the intricacies of the open-worked movement. A domed, anti-glare sapphire crystal protects this masterpiece, allowing every detail to shine. The push-pull crown and 50-meter water resistance reflect the collection’s commitment to both utility and luxury.
Elevating the Five Points Skeleton Collection are the handmade Italian leather straps, crafted to perfection in classic colorways. These straps are more than accessories; they are expressions of refined taste and individuality, seamlessly complementing the artistry of the timepiece.
The Gevril Five Points Skeleton watch is not just a timekeeper—it is a statement. It embodies the energy and elegance of New York City, weaving together past, present, and future into a masterpiece of luxury and innovation. With every tick, it captures the pulse of the city, a testament to timeless sophistication and modern ingenuity.

The history of Gevril watches is a story that combines an illustrious watchmaking past with an innovative modern revitalization. The company origins date back to the mid-18th century and Jacques Gevril, the gifted Swiss watchmaker who is the founder and inspiration of the eponymous brand.
Today the Gevril name endures thanks to the vision of a Swiss horologist and businessman who lifted the brand to its current heights as an established Swiss watch company.
Jacques Gevril was an up-and-coming watch and clockmaker in 1758 when he accompanied his colleague Pierre Jaquet-Droz on a trip to Madrid. There, the men presented a selection of complex musical automata to King Ferdinand VI. The king was so impressed he bought every piece.
Jaquet-Droz returned home the following year but Gevril remained in Spain to fortify his reputation as a master watchmaker and was appointed Royal Watchmaker by the king. Gevril lived in Spain for many years thereafter, refining his craft and producing watches for the Crown.
Gevril’s traditions were survived by future generations of Gevril watchmakers including Moyse Gevril and Daniel Gevril, who built their reputations on horological innovations and artistic enameling techniques.
Today Gevril pocket watches are highly collectible: one is even located in the Muséum Genève and another is part of the collection of the Wilsdorf family, founders of Rolex.
